RESIDENTIAL - REFURBISHMENT/ EXTENSION
2 Storey - Single occupancy house
A 2 story single-occupancy house is extended with 4 meters at the rear. The complexity came where the left side foundations have to pass over a height density of drainage pipes and a communal sewer.
To achieve the proposed layout we had to combine strip foundations, pads, and RC ground beams in an economical way to form the foundation layout.
Ground slab si proposed as Beam and Block with voids underneath due to nearby trees.
Ther rest of the strucutral system is built in a traditional way with cavity wall and Timber floors.
