STRUCTURAL SURVEYS

In many cases as part of the house buying process, a buyer will get a home buyers report or similar before purchase. These often flag up issues that need further investigation from a structural engineer. If the roof is sagging or cracks are found, for example, a structural survey is often recommended by the surveyor.

We can investigate these concerns and compile a report for the buyer as to whether the structural issues are historic or ongoing and what remedial works may be necessary to fix these. Home owners may also find defects in the homes over time that they are concerned about and want a second opinion on.
